I also have news on the new title for "Something Like Regret," but I think I'll wait a little before announcing that, as it has changed twice. Its release is set for Spring, 2011. That seems so far away, but I know it will be here before I know it.

Taking a Deep Breath...
Things are really taking off now, with the September release of "Darcy's Voyage," the Sourcebooks publication of what was formerly "Pemberley's Promise." With a new cover and talk now of promotional ideas, I am beginning to get butterflies in my stomach! For those of you on facebook, I have created a facebook 'page' under Kara Louise, Author. Please don't let anyone change "Pemberley's Promise" too much! I love that book. It is my favorite "what if" and Mary Sherwood's sequel is tied for first with yours. The gentlemanly conduct, manners, gentility etc. of your premise are so amazing and accurate for the time. I just can't bear it if it's changed. I do believe I have all your books now.
ReplyDeleteFear not! There are no major changes, only slight editing to improve it - wordiness, grammar, etc. So glad you like it and thanks for taking the time to comment! (About the only major change is the title!)
